The proposed session deals with Artificial intelligence in medicine that is characterized as the scientific discipline pertaining to research studies, projects, and applications. The studies included in this session aims at supporting decision-based medical tasks through knowledge- and/or data-intensive computer-based solutions that ultimately support and improve the performance of a human care provider. Also they have a potential high impact in some medical or healthcare domain, and strong novelty of method and theory related to AI and computer science techniques.

This session consists of one chair and four speakers, respectively: Prof. Dr. Ozan Kocadagli (ISBIS VP, Y-BIS President, Chair), Prof. Dr. Tahir Ekin (ISI/ISBIS member, Ex-ISBIS VP, Ex-Y-BIS President, Speaker), Luca Frigau (ISI/ISBIS member, Ex-ISBIS VP, Ex-Y-BIS President, ISBIS Council Member, Speaker) and Dr. Neslihan Gokmen (ISBIS/Y-BIS Member, y-BIS Committee member) and Prof. Dr. Esra Akdeniz. Mainly, the topics of talks are intersted in Health Care Fraud Detection, Innovative Approach in Medicine, Brain Tumor Segmentation using AI, and expert system based machine learning.
