SDG 16 indicators regarding Peace, justice, and inclusion must be completed with high-quality data from official statistics as well as strong conceptual, methodological, and technical features. However, we still have statistical information without a strong presence in countries and regions. From a national perspective, panelists will discuss some challenges they face for the coming years related to the attention of SDG-16 indicators and several new tools and methods in order to reduce the current data gaps.

 

Chair and moderator: • Adrián Franco, Vice President of the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI) and Responsible for the National Subsystem on Governance, Crime and Justice Statistics in México.
