Registration Entitlement

1. Upon payment of registration fees, delegates have access to the conference venue for scientific sessions and other meetings/events of the International Statistical Institute’s (ISI) 65th World Statistics Congress (WSC) from 5-9 October 2025.

Registration Process and Payment

1. Delegates can register via the online registration system and pay via credit card or bank transfer. More details, including the expiration date for early bird rate-payments and regular fees, can be found on the WSC 2025 website’s registration page. Fees are in the Euro currency.
2. Please note that the ISI will not accept responsibility for any deduction of international bank transfer fees. Only upon receiving the full payment of the registration fee, an e-mail confirming the registration will be sent to you.
3. Payment must have been received before 17 March 2025 at the latest in order to enjoy the early bird rate. Payment of the registration fee at the regular rate must have been received before 1 September 2025. Payment is due within 28 days from date of invoice, unless other arrangements have been made with the ISI Registration Team.
4. For payments made by credit card, the amount reflected in the credit card statement will be in the currency of the credit card. In the confirmation e-mail, the amount paid will be shown in Euros.
5. ISI may arrange for photographs, video recordings or live streaming to be taken during the meeting. Any subsequent photographs or recordings will remain the property of ISI and may be used for promotional purposes by ISI and Worldspan. Other third parties (including exhibitors) may also arrange for photographs or recordings to be taken during the event. By submitting this registration form, you are agreeing to the photographing and/or filming of the proceedings. 6. As a delegate of the WSC 2025, you consent to the publication of your name and country of residence in the list of participants and consent to contact from ISI about this and future events.
7. A delegate is responsible for obtaining and paying for travel insurance.
8. The ISI reserves the right to make changes as deemed necessary, with or without prior notice to parties concerned. All disputes are subject to Dutch Law and the competent court is in The Hague, The Netherlands.

Cancellation & Refund Policies

1. Refund Policy: If you can no longer attend the WSC 2025, please note our refund policy:

2. Refunds, minus €50 administration fee, will be given according to the Refund Policy in cases where delegates are not able to fund their travel, accommodation and stay for the WSC 2025. Delegates must organise their own funding for financing their travel, accommodation and stay for the duration of the WSC 2025
3. Refunds will be given according to the Refund Policy in cases where a delegate’s visa is rejected. Delegates are responsible for applying for their own visas, including supporting documents requested for the visa applications, and any visa processing fees. Delegates are expected to apply for their visas in a timely manner. Please note current visa processing times are longer than usual, and, in some cases, can even take one year to be processed. Refunds will not be given if the reason for visa rejection is that an incomplete visa application was submitted. Any refund claim will be considered by the ISI and its decision will be final.
4. A paid registration cannot be transferred to the credit of another delegate’s unpaid registration. Special circumstances exist only for staff designated to attend of an organisation with ISI membership. Each case will be reviewed on an individual basis by the ISI and its decision will be final.
5. In extreme cases where cancellation by the delegate is unavoidable due to special and unforeseen circumstances, the delegate must contact the ISI for consideration of a (partial) refund minus €50 administration fee. The ISI will consider and its decision will be final. 
6. In the unlikely event of the WSC 2025 being cancelled by the ISI, a full refund of the registration fee paid by the delegate will be made. Liability will be limited to the amount of the fee paid by the delegate and there will not be any additional liability to the ISI or any other individual associated with the event organisation.
7. In the event that the WSC 2025 cannot be held or is postponed due to events beyond the control of the ISI (force majeure) or due to events which are not attributable to wrongful intent or gross negligence of the ISI, liability will be limited to the amount of the fee paid by the delegate and there will not be any additional liability to ISI or any other organisation or individual associated with the event organisation.
