Join us from 5 tot 9 October 2025 for the 65th ISI World Statistics Congress, the leading global event for Statistics and Data Science, held every two years by the International Statistical Institute. Taking place in The Hague, The Netherlands, this congress will bring together around 1,500 statisticians and data scientists from academia, official statistics, private sector businesses, central banks, statistical societies and more.
With a Scientific Programme covering more than 250 premium sessions, inspiring talks featuring some of the industry's most influential names, and useful workshops and short courses, participants of all levels can explore the latest trends, network, share knowledge, and create new collaborations. A vibrant social programme complements the event, offering opportunities to connect in an inspiring and informal atmosphere.

We are excited to announce Professor Bhramar Mukherjee as our President Invited Speaker. The Anna M.R. Lauder Professor of Biostatistics and Senior Associate Dean at Yale, she is renowned for her work in integrating genetic, environmental, and health data. With over 390 publications and election to the US National Academy of Medicine, her expertise will be invaluable to our congress.
It is our honour to introduce our keynote speaker for the 2025 World Statistics Congress: As Chair of the Science Communication and Society Department at Leiden University, she specialises in bridging the gap between experts and the public. Her leadership in science communication and education will provide invaluable insights at the congress.
We look forward to welcoming Ed Humpherson as keynote speaker. As Head of the UK’s Office for Statistics Regulation, he leads efforts to ensure that statistics serve the public good. With a career dedicated to transparency, accountability, and ethical data use, he plays a key role in strengthening public trust. His broad experience across government and advisory bodies will bring valuable perspectives to our congress.
