Abstract

This session aims to discuss recent advances in the implementation of the FPOS in Latin America and the Caribbean. It will encompass the regional collaborative work in the context of the Statistical Conference of the Americas and the different instruments to support the FPOS that have been endorsed by the Conference, and will also highlight recent national experiences on implementing a national quality assurance framework and extending the FPOS to other producers of official statistics of the National Statistical System.
