Abstract

The Central Bank of Chile produces high-frequency monetary and financial statistics that are essential for economic analysis and the assessment of financial stability. To compile these statistics, various sources of information are integrated, allowing for the monitoring of the evolution of monetary assets and liabilities, as well as credit flows and banking interest rates. In order to ensure the quality and timeliness of the information, a comprehensive system for data collection, analysis, and dissemination has been developed, which includes validation methods at the input stage, time series analysis through dashboards, and automated text processing techniques for report generation. This work aims to illustrate how this process is carried out, with a special focus on recent advancements in data visualization and report automation, highlighting how these tools contribute to informed decision-making in the economic and financial sphere.
