Abstract

This paper aims at demonstrating the importance of segmentation in future analyses of domestic food waste, based on the case study conducted on families with children (Tonini et al., 2023). It will outline the categories of segmentation considered in the literature and the methodologies used in food waste analysis. The case study will introduce the approaches used for defining questions in the questionnaire and the statistical methodology applied for data analysis.
