In today’s data-driven world, privacy concerns loom large over the landscape of data partnerships. This presentation delves into the multifaceted realm of Privacy-Enhancing Technologies (PETs), asserting that understanding PETs solely as a technological fix overlooks its multidimensional nature. Rather, it encompasses a holistic approach that integrates diverse elements such as organisational capacity, collaboration management, and user engagement. By experimenting with and tailoring PETs to specific use cases, statisticians play a pivotal role in navigating the intricate landscape of data partnerships.
