Abstract

Based on the input-output table of China's digital economy from 2001 to 2020, this paper calculates the total amount of different types of digital assets; Geometric efficiency model and hyperbolic efficiency model are used to estimate the value of capital services, and the robustness analysis is carried out. Based on the growth accounting framework, the contribution of digital assets to economic growth is analyzed. The research results show that China's digital assets have increased by 23 times in 20 years, accounting for nearly 4% of the total assets, and The contribution of digital assets to total economic output ranges from 4% to 28%, with significant differences among the digital economy industries, with the largest contribution concentrated in the digital technology application industry.
