Abstract
Nowadays it is known that microbiome is related with the health status of the subjects. In fact, microbiome is related with several diseases such as cancer, diabetes or Alzheimer. In addition, the study of the microbiome is one of the most paramount areas in actual science. However, there is a need of statistical methods to analyse bacterial dynamics and extract interpretable information. Our research is done to contribute with this line of investigation.
Particularly, Martí et al (2018) highlight the importance of studying time series to understand the microbiome health status. We are going to present compositional models that analyse longitudinal microbiome datasets in order to extract interpretable information of the bacterial behaviour. In addition, we are going to present the software developed to estimate the models with different datasets.
