Abstract

With the outbreak of Corona in November 2019 in China had prompted deaths with its unfurl to extra than 200 countries and made stress and nervousness in the oblivious personalities of every individual on the world. The Corona pandemic comes to impose itself on the situation of the Egyptian economy and increase the difficulties it suffers from after difficult years in which Egypt made a great effort to correct the economic situation in Egypt.
The repercussions of the Corona crisis on the Egyptian economic growth will not only be linked to the cessation of economic activities as a result of the precautionary measures, but rather for the countries of the world as a whole to be affected by this crisis, especially the countries that Egypt deals with mainly such as China, the United States of America and Europe countries.
The objective of this paper is to study the impact of COVID-19 Socio-economic factors which is measured from official statistics such as the change in unemployment rates, household expenditure, savings, investments and income per capita on the economy represented by the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in light of the measures, interventions and policies taken by the Egyptian government to confront this crisis on the Egyptian economy, Based on the fact that the rate of economic growth is one of the macroeconomic variables of interest to policymakers and economists as one of the variables governing economic development.
