Abstract

Data visualization is a powerful tool for presenting and exploring data effectively, enabling quick absorption, enhancing insights, and improving decision-making. This research paper focuses on the importance of employing data visualization techniques to reformulate the results of the Egyptian International Household Migration Survey (EHIMS) for enhanced communication and clarity.
The primary goal of this study is to showcase the transformative impact of using interactive dashboard data visualization, as opposed to traditional graphs, to convey data insights from the EHIMS. By leveraging tools such as Power BI and Excel, the aim is to highlight the effectiveness of interactive dashboards in delivering clear messages to data users, decision-makers, and the general public.
Through the exploration of various visualization techniques, including Pie Charts, Bar Charts, Histograms, and Gantt Charts, this paper assesses the most effective methods for visualizing survey results. The study also emphasizes the importance of accurate data visualization in improving understanding of migration data, correcting misconceptions, and enhancing data communication strategies for migration-related information.
