Abstract

The data visualization tools promote the best use of evidence in decision making, transparency of data and information and people comprehend data better through pictures than by reading numbers in columns and rows. The main goal of data visualization is to communicate information clearly and effectively through graphical means, so all users have to do is authenticate and click a button to create infographic or data visualization and shared with their friends online in social media. It offers the ability to create different views of your data and change them as your needs. The full positivity of the quality of statistical work is achieved by achieving the maximum benefit for the data user and decision makers, through an accurate and clear reading of the data, which is achieved by visualizing the data.
This paper will study the importance of using data visualization in statistical world due to the large amount of official statistics data and needs to be analyzed quickly so it will get useful impact on data users and decision makers. This will be applied to the latest Egyptian economic census data that was recently implemented in Egypt using a new technological system which helped to collect data electronically and display the results in a faster time and to read the data properly, with high quality, in a comprehensive and easy-to-understand manner for the decision maker. Moreover, analyze the relation between data visualization and future statistical challenges like big data and statistical awareness.
