Abstract
This research investigates the pivotal role of knowledge management (KM) in enhancing the performance of government institutions, offering a roadmap for strategic implementation and optimization. The study was carried out at Statistics Indonesia as the official statistics provider in Indonesia. Through a comprehensive review of literature and case studies, the study explores how KM initiatives can facilitate knowledge sharing, innovation, and organizational learning within the national statistics office. Furthermore, the research develops a structured framework encompassing key dimensions such as leadership, culture, processes, and technology to guide in harnessing the full potential of its intellectual assets. By elucidating the mechanisms through which KM can drive performance improvements, this study aims to inform policy and practice for more effective and responsive governance.
