Abstract
The Doshic Prakriti (Body Constitution) is a fundamental concept in Ayurveda, an ancient system of medicine from India. It refers to an individual's unique constitution or body type, which is determined by the predominance of the three doshas: Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. Each person is born with a specific balance of these doshas, which affects their physical characteristics, mental tendencies, and susceptibility to various health conditions. Applying machine learning to classify individuals based on their Doshic Prakriti in Ayurveda is an intriguing intersection of ancient wisdom and modern technology. Based on newly collected data, we develop tools based on different machine-learning techniques to classify people based on Prakriti characteristics. These methods include random forest, boosting, and support vector machines. We also plan to develop an R package to implement the tool. The study also highlighted the use and application of machine learning techniques in Ayur-genomic research, which combines the principles of Ayurveda with genomic data to understand individual health profiles and predispositions.
