Abstract

Research and pedagogy related to data science are evolving in different ways and at different speeds in different countries. In some places, academia, government, and industry may not have kept sufficiently up to date with interesting and useful developments in data science methods. Leveraging capacity building efforts by ISI to train an effective data science workforce in various application domains will be challenging, but rewarding.
